The bay window assembly below is created in our “Heritage” style, flush fit layout. The opening sashes (and the dummy ones in centre section) sit inside the frame and do not lip over the framing as in our storm proof or normal wrap around Ellwood Classic system.

                                                                             bay/bow windows

Whether a simple 3 faceted bay or 5 or 7 faceted bay window construction is required, dealing with Ellwood ensures a bespoke, handmade and time honoured, considered approach. Square or angled bay windows, with or without cottage bar features are no problem. Corner or bay posts can be fluted to add a more decorative feel. Our posts are solid Sapele of course and with a fully mitred and specially constructed sill the new bay window will give your home a very special look and a delight to live with and use.

Sliding vertical sash windows can be accommodated within the construction or of course, many other casement style window designs. Often there is a need to create deeper than average window boards (internal window sills) and these will match the window of course utilising the same paint or stain finishes to give an integrated and beautiful look overall. Windowboards can be in Sapele or at lower cost, a special MDF product.

Our professional fitting team is highly skilled in all aspects of properly fitting these high specification double glazed timber windows and are also quite used to installing the internal trims and architraves often found in bay, bow and sliding sash window installations.
